BOBBIE GRAY

Wisteria Lane

Bobbie Gray is one of our Local Artists.
In her final year at Whitecliffe College Of Arts And Design, she conceptualised and founded the artist-run-space Comet Project Space in the heart of our hood.

Bobbie is a New Zealand born, Auckland-based artist whose work is founded in a range of disciplines including sculpture, moving image, painting, installation, curation & project development.

Her practice explores our innate connection between people and the natural environment and is intended to offer insight into the ability of art to reframe our relationship with the environment and our everyday experiences.

Bobbie’s work has been widely recognised and she has received several awards. Her work has been exhibited around the world including projections onto the internal walls of Coventry Cathedral; in the Medina of Tunis, a World Heritage UNESCO site as well as a rooftop exhibition in Kiev, Ukraine.

We are thrilled and proud to showcase Bobbie’s work at Light Up Ponsonby 2022, located in the laneway of Ponsonby Central.
